Literary Record 1883-1907
Description
Oxley's diary, recording his literary output, 1883-1907. The diary is in a commercial ledger binding of ivory coloured cloth with leather accents, with the title supplied by Oxley in manuscript. It includes financial and publication details for Oxley's entire writing career, from the publication of his first article in 1883 through March 1907, just a few months before he died. In addition to identifying publishers, titles, and dates of publication, and payment received, Oxley notes when and where each work was reviewed.
